People in MDF is an artistic exploration of memory, material, and identity. In this project, I draw figures onto MDF panels—a material that holds a deeply personal and phenomenological resonance for me. Its muted tone and texture evoke the earthy, sun-washed landscapes of Egypt and carry a quiet familiarity that mirrors the spirit of the people I depict. Through this medium, I aim to capture the essence of the Egyptian soul—its strength, resilience, and everyday poetry—as filtered through my own lived experiences. MDF, often overlooked, becomes a vessel for storytelling, memory, and emotional connection.
