This project is an artistic exploration of Historic Cairo through cyanotype printing and photography, created in collaboration with youth from the area. It focuses on how people interact with their heritage, using everyday objects and plants from Historic Cairo to capture the spirit of place. I lived in Historic Cairo for three years during this time, and the project centers on the belief that people are the most vital part of the heritage equation.
