Patterns of Cairo is an open-access collection of documented and digitized patterns celebrating Cairo’s rich visual heritage. It includes images, drawings, vector files, and stories to connect users with traditional arts, foster pattern awareness, and inspire contemporary creatives.

Initiated by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt and implemented by Megawra, the project builds on a decade of conservation work and pattern documentation.

My role: Researching, photographing, drawing, and digitizing patterns.
